Pocket Sprung Futomat

With a 2-inch Pocket Sprung unit nestled between four layers of luxuriously soft cotton felt and two layers of the highest quality British wool, this is our softest natural futon mattress.

The spring unit helps to recirculate the air through the fillings allowing them to rebound time and time again, offering longevity and durability.

The white cotton-rich felt filling is a mixture of cotton and pure polyester. This keeps the cotton fibre from tangling and knotting and it increases loft thickness, allowing more air to pass through the fibres, reducing dust and helping with body moisture evaporation.

All our unique Futomats have our signature chemical- free Cottonsafe® undyed quilted cover and are finished with a tape edge before being hand tufted.

The Pocket Springs gives this Futomat a softer feel than the traditional futon and can be described as a medium support futon bed mattress.

Handmade to order in our Devon workshop by a team of local master craftsman our Pocket Sprung Futomat is designed for solid or sprung slatted bed bases alike.

100% chemical free, you won’t find any fire retardants, foams, bleaches, glues, or spray adhesives in any of our Futomats. Our Futomats are 100% recyclable, with the natural fibres of our clever Cottonsafe® cover and wool being biodegradable as well.

Natural fibres such as wool, have their own natural aroma, this is because none of the fibres used in our fillings are bleached or chemically treated. Any natural scent will gradually disappear over time and airing the mattress will help to eliminate potential scent.
