Delivery from Cambridge Futons

All our futons and Futomats are handmade to order in our Devon based workshop, so it does take a little bit longer to produce our items than other high-volume, machine made, off the shelf alternatives, but our super team of skilled craftspeople work really to get your order to you as soon as possible.

We aim to delivery within 10 - 15 days in the mainland UK - every mattress is handmade to order (except clearance items). If you require an urgent delivery please call and we can check if it is possible to manufacture and deliver by your required date.

While we make every effort to deliver within these timescales, deliveries to remote areas and further distances (including Scotland) may take longer than our standard timescale.

Please note that we deliver to the mainland UK for free on all orders over the value of £50. When delivering to parts of Scotland and Scottish Highlands there will be an additional delivery charge and it may take more time to get to you.

We can offer a service to offshore Islands, Northern and Republic of Ireland. Please contact us for a delivery quote.

Saturday, named day and other timed services can be arranged in advance of despatch, this service is chargeable at £45 per item.

Failed deliveries where the customer is at fault will be chargeable to the customer at £70 per item.

We cannot be held responsible if the delivery is delayed by the courier for reasons such as mis-routing, weather, driver shortages, etc.

The goods must be checked thoroughly before a signature is given to the driver.

If there is in ANY DOUBT of the condition of the goods or packaging, you must sign as DAMAGED, do not sign as unchecked.

We cannot be held responsible for product or packaging that has been visibly damaged in transit and then signed for as received in "good condition" (any signature alone represents this).

Cambridge Futons will not accept damage claims for goods which have been signed for as “received in good condition”.

A delivery date will be arranged with you on receipt of your order by email. Though delivery is booked in for a set date, we cannot be held responsible if the delivery is delayed by the courier for reasons such as mis-routing, weather etc.

The goods must be checked thoroughly before a signature is given to the driver. If there is in ANY DOUBT of the condition of the goods or packaging, you must sign as "Damaged" not "unchecked".

We cannot be held responsible for product or packaging that has been visibly damaged in transit and yet signed for as received in "good condition" (any signature alone represents this). This is because we cannot claim for the damage from the courier if they have it on their system as signed for received in good condition.
