The Cocoloc Futon Mattress is made with 4 luxurious layers of cotton felt, two outer layers of the finest British wool and a central core of Coir - this is a natural filling made from coconut fibre bonded with natural latex. 

It is the central layer which makes it our firmest futon mattress. Also available as one of our Futon style bed mattresses, The Futomat, it provides a superior level of firm support with added resilience and durability for everyday bed use. 

We’ve removed all the chemicals and fire retardants from the fillings of our futon mattresses, opting to use natural, biodegradable fibres including cotton, coir and pure British wool, all of which are Stockholm Convention compliant, offering superior comfort and a safer sleeping environment, better for you and the planet.

For the ultimate chemical free experience pair your Cocoloc Futon mattress with one of our natural fibre fabrics including Wool Flax, Carrera Cotton or our very own Cottonsafe®.

Available in a range of fabrics you can choose to have your handmade Cocoloc Futon Mattresses finished with matching solid tufts, or soft tufts if you plan to use it for regular bed use. Speak with our friendly admin team to discuss which option suits you.

NB: futon mattresses finished in the Tweed, Beach Hut or Owls fabric will come with a contrast fabric on the sides and underside, get in touch for more information.
