TradLux Futon Mattress

If you’re looking for a traditional feel futon mattress which is comfortable and supportive enough for regular bed use then our TradLux Futon Mattress is the perfect choice.

This super product creates a very solid deep mattress which is particularly suitable for use as a frequently used bed or on a Three-seat frame.

Filled with five luxuriously thick layers of cotton felt nestled between two layers of the finest quality British Wool, the cotton felt gently cradles the body whilst being highly breathable, supporting the body with night-time temperature regulation, so it will keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Whilst our 4’6 (double) and 5’ (king) TradLux Futon Mattresses are designed with both bed and futon frames in mind, our 3’ (single) is only recommended for bed frame use to protect the fillings.

At Cambridge Futons we are committed to bringing healthier sleep environments into people homes which is why you will find that all our fillings are completely chemical free. We do not use any fire-retardant chemicals, foams, bleaches or adhesives on any of our futon mattress fillings.

Available in a range of fabrics you can choose to have your TradLux Futon Mattresses finished with matching solid tufts, or soft tufts if you plan to use it for regular bed use. Speak with our friendly admin team to discuss which option suits you.

For an entirely chemical free experience choose from our Cotton Carrera, Wool Flax or Cottonsafe® fabrics.

The extra thick layers make this substantial futon quite heavy in comparison to some other futons.

NB: futon mattresses finished in the Tweed, Beach Hut or Owls fabric will come with a contrast fabric on the sides and underside, get in touch for more information.
